09/25/14 Don't Miss the Mill Pond Library Auction!

It's only a few days away!!  The Mill Pond Library's live auction on Sunday, Oct. 5th, at the Town Hall in Dalton.  Doors open at 10am and the bidding starts at noon. Auctioneer Wayne Yoder, of Wautoma, has graciously offered his skills to our exciting day.  Right now the library is brimming with hundreds of items that have been donated for the sale.  Jon Fisco and Bob Conklin donated 2 Green Bay Packer tickets for the game against the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 19th.  Snuggle up this winter in a vintage monkey wrench quilt made and donated by the St. Mary's Quilters in Kingston.  Have lots of leaves to mulch? Bid on the riding lawn mower donated by Jon Radmer.  Peek into some of the boxes and you'll see things from tools to toys.  We also have prom dresses, gift certificates, live plants, antiques, and furniture just to list a few.  There is absolutely something for everyone in the family.  Take a break from the bidding with a piece of homemade pie and a scoop of ice cream.  Proceeds from the auction will go towards a new copier, replacing a pressure tank, and library materials. Expect an entertaining afternoon and pick up a treasure or two, while also benefittin the Library.
