We have been celebrating the writings of Dr. Seuss this month as his birthday was on March 2nd. Our goal was to check out 100 of his books by month end. At the writing of this article we have checked out 65 items. With a week to go yet we are hoping that we can still meet our goal. We've also used Dr. Seuss's books for story hour this month, and have one more program this Thursday at 4:30pm. All ages are welcome!
The other thing that will be going away at the end of the month is the Veterans Display put on by Janet Burdick. Local veterans brought in a photograph of themselves when they enlisted in whichever service they joined. For the first 3 weeks of the month there were no names next to the pictures and you could look and see how many you might recognize. Now the names have been revealed, so stop in one last time to see who you might know but not have known!
