4/14/14 Hats Off to the Mill Pond Library

    The Mill Pond Library in Kingston currently has a display of antique hats for viewing.  The hats belong to Bernice Brekke of Dalton, and will be on display until April 23rd.  Bernice and her husband Ed were members of the Badger Antique Car Club and liked to dress the part at times when driving their antique car for events.  In the display there are also some old photos showing the couple dressed up, and the library has provided books on hats from that era.  Stop in and see the display any day that the library is open

 

4/7/14 Week of the Young Child Festival

We will have a booth set up this Thursday (April 10) to help celebrate WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD FESTIVAL being held at Markesan Elementary School Cafeteria 4pm-6pm. !! Come and visit with us, and enjoy "mini" story hours! Because of our participation with the Festival, there will NOT be a story hour at the Library on April 10th! Hope to see you and your kids on Thursday at Markesan Elementary School!!

3/1/14 - Happy March!

Spring is almost here, and many exciting things are going to be happening at the library so stay tuned!  Don't forget to come in and check out our latest display.  The items are all for sale and for the next 2 weeks are 25% off.

2/13/14 NEW DISPLAY

Jeremy & Carrie Kohler, owners of Dark Forest Emporium are displaying some of their rustic, hand-made art!  They find new & exciting ways to use wood for home decorating. All of the items on display are for sale and would make great Valentines gifts!!  They also take custom orders and will deliver their creations to you.

12/7/13 - Santa, Cookies, and Holiday Fun

    If you've been waiting for the Cookie Walk, held each year at the Mill Pond Library in Kingston, then mark your calendars because it's this Saturday.    December 14th, from 9am to 11am, there will be homemade cookies and goodies galore to tempt your taste buds!!  Have you experienced a Cookie Walk yet?  If not, you're in for a treat.  The selection of homemade cookies and other goodies is huge.  Las
