09/21/2016 American Girl Club Returns

Have you missed the American Girl Club over the summer break?  Or maybe you've never been to the club?  Well, this Saturday, Sept. 24th, at 9a.m. the club will start back up.  Amanda Rose is the head of the group and brings a story, an activity, and a treat for all.  The stories are about American Girls from different time periods.  The club members learn what it would have been like to live during that time and the project relates to the story.  The club meets once a month on a Saturday and the dates for the 1st three months are: Sept. 24, Oct. 22, and Nov.

8/23/16 Thank You!

Thanks to all who came to our 1st Annual Car Show. All those who braved the rain to bring their special cars. All those who came to eat. All those who volunteered to help. And all those who donated food or $ for food.
Thanks again, and here's hoping for wonderful weather next year!!

8/9/16 Pool Party Fun!!

Our summer reading program in July was a great hit.  Children who participated were asked to read 20 minutes a day for the entire month.  All those who completed the program were eligible to come to the pool party that was held at the Berlin Aquatic Center.  All the readers enjoyed several hours of swimming, a light supper, and an ice cream cone from McDonalds before heading home. We are thankful to the National Exchange Bank and the Edna Erna Pugh Trust Fund for funding the trip!  Regular story hour will have the month of August off and start again on Thursday, Sept. 8th at 4:30pm.

6/8/16 Summer Reading Program - Exercise Your Mind!!

Our Summer Reading Program will begin on Thursday, June 30th with the theme this year being Exercise Your Mind...Read!  The program starts at 2pm and runs for 4 weeks.  Sarah Chastain, a 6th grade school teacher at Markesan District schools will be leading the group in fun adventures that do exercise the mind, so stop by and sign up today.  And look for the librarians or their helpers, from all 5 of the Green Lake County libraries, in the June Dairy Days parade this weekend.  We will be handing out pamphlets and bookmarks with dates for summer reading programs at all of the libraries.

4/27/16 Pretty Pallets Fundraiser has begun!

The silent auction for the Pretty Pallets Fundraiser has begun. Bidding goes from Monday, April 25 until Saturday, May 5th. We have 38 items and not only would they make great additions to your garden or home, but they would also make wonderful gifts. There is a potting table, several painted pallets, birdhouses, wooden fishing lures, plaques, garden beds, and glass garden art to name a few. Stop in and place a bid today and you could be the lucky owner of a unique piece of art!

4/7/16 Pretty Pallet Projects Fundraiser UPDATE!

Our first donation for the Pretty Pallet Projects Fundraiser  has come in.  It's an adorable frog hanging on a fence with a planter below him.  Several other patrons have let us know that their project is almost done.  Look for all the creative Pretty Pallet Projects to be auctioned off in a silent auction starting April 25th and ending May 7th.  One of these items would make a great Mother's Day gift!  Money raised from the silent auction will go towards some new shelving to help with crowded shelves.
